Instant Pot Roasted Potatoes
How to prepare dinner Crisp 'n Creamy Instant Pot Roasted Potatoes. You'll love those creamy mushy & fluffy modern Pressure Cooker Baby Potatoes with a deliciously flavorful slight-crisp skin. The proper kid-friendly edge or snack for dinners, parties, potlucks, or picnics.
Ingredients
1.5 pound (680g) child potatoes
1 teaspoon (4g) onion powder
1 teaspoon (4g) garlic powder
3 - four pinches coarse kosher salt
2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter
1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
1 cup (250ml) chilly water
Instructions
Pressure Cook Baby Potatoes: Pour 1 cup (250ml) chilly water, then region a stainless metal steamer basket in Instant Pot Pressure Cooker. Place 1.5 lb (680g) child potatoes in steamer basket. Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 15 minutes, then Quick Release.
*Pro Tip: This will produce creamy & mushy child potatoes. If you favor a firmer texture, scale back the drive cooking time via a number of minutes. (See Our Roasted Potatoes Experiment Results Here)
Make Creamy Roasted Potatoes: Set apart the drive cooked child potatoes. Discard water in internal pot & towel dry internal pot.
Heat up Instant Pot utilizing "Saute" position (press "Cancel" button, then "Saute" button).
Once the indicator says HOT, upload 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter and 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil in Instant Pot.
Add drive cooked child potatoes in Instant Pot. With a wood spoon, gently stir the child potatoes to coat them with butter.
Sprinkle 1 tsp (4g) garlic powder and 1 tsp (4g) onion powder at the child potatoes. Gentle blend the child potatoes, then enable the powder to darken & harden a little.
Taste & season Instant Pot Roasted Potatoes with salt and black pepper (if desired). For reference, we used roughly four pinches of coarse kosher salt.
Serve Instant Pot Roasted Potatoes: The Roasted Potatoes in Instant Pot could be piping hot, so let it cool for roughly 5 minutes earlier than serving. Enjoy!~ 🙂
